Pull the plug

Pull significa "tirar", "jalar", y plug (pronunciación: /plʌg/) significa "enchufe".

1) A: So, is the school taking the kids on that camping trip?
B: No... They don't have any money so they're pulling the plug on that.

2) A: John and Mary are getting married next week, right?
B: Not really. Mary pulled the plug (on that one) after she found out John cheated on her a few years ago!

3) We were having a great time at the party until Martin's parents came home and pulled the plug on the fun.

2) A: John and Mary are getting married next week, right?
