Point Out

¿?

Veamos ejemplos:

1) Tourist: Excuse me, I'm looking for the Obelisk but I can't find it on this map. Can you point it out for me?

2) Teacher: OK... Sam! Can you point out the difference between present perfect and simple past?
Maestra: OK... ¡Sam!

3) A: I got an F on the test.
A: Me saqué un 2 en la prueba.
    B: How come?
    B: ¡Pero cómo!
A: I got it all wrong. The teacher spent 1 hour pointing out the mistakes I made. She also pointed out that if I don't get an A on the next test she will have to fail me. Ugh.
Uf.

Point out en el sentido de señalar con el dedo también se puede variar a point to o point at:

4) Can you point to / at / out the window in this picture for me?

¡Empiecen a usarlo apenas puedan!
