At the end of the day

1) We interviewed a lot of people but at the end of the day, nobody was really qualified to do the job.
2) Sure he cheated on her, but at the end of the day, they've been together for 20 years and have 3 children. I can see why they are still together.
3) We all want to have a drink but at the end of the day, because we have to work now.
4) We all want to have money but at the end of the day it's not he most important thing.*

¿Qué ejemplos de los de arriba tienen "at the end of the day" en sentido literal y cuáles en sentido figurativo? Los ejemplos 1), 2) y 4) tienen "at the end of the day" en sentido figurativo (a fin de cuentas). Solo el ejemplo 3) tiene "at the end of the day" en sentido literal (al final del día).

At the end of the day, it's only for your benefit!
