Blend in
Ayer vimos que blend significa "mezclar", sobre todo al punto de obtener una sola cosa de las que se mezclan. Con esta información más la foto de la derecha, supongo que se van haciendo una idea de lo que significa blend in. Pero por si no fuera así, veamos algunos ejemplos (ver la traducción al final de la publicación*):
1) Look at that! The cat blends in perfectly with the stuffed animals on the shelf. It looks like one.
2) That's a lovely coffee table! It blends in perfectly with the rest of your living room!
3) What a crazy picture! The lady blends in with the wall paper! (Ver foto de arriba)
4) It's amazing how chameleons change
their skin to blend in with the environment! Sí. Blend in significa "mezclarse", "confundirse (con)", "camuflarse".
